An affiliate member of the MEI Management Team, Joe Donohue is a recognized expert in the Event Design, Production, Marketing & Media Relations fields.

He is currently serving multiple roles with the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, including: Coordinating Producer, Olympic News Channel; Broadcast Floor Director for the Games’ Host Broadcaster/IOC Media Briefings and “on-call” logistics and information liaison at multiple venues.
Joe’s versatility and resourcefulness will be applied to our ongoing sales and marketing efforts with existing and prospective clients, as well as in relationship-building with host/bid cities, local, regional and national governmental agencies, international sports federations and national sports governing bodies, and on print, broadcast and social media platforms.

Based in New York, Joe is considered one of the most effective problem-solvers, mentors and motivators in the global events world. He has been on all sides of the event production, sponsorship and promotional equations, and will bring this credibility to our new business ventures across the globe. He has also trained more than 150 aspiring broadcasters (on-air & production) in the areas of information gathering, writing, editing & distribution.

Joe has an impressive record of achievement, having been at the heart of 12 Olympic Games, multiple Super Bowls (USA), a USA presidential election campaign and he has represented multiple FORTUNE 100 companies in the event marketing arena. Joe has also been a front-office executive with Major League Baseball (New York Mets) and a newspaper reporter/columnist.
