Rachel has extensive experience in international business and trade facilitation. Formerly the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Sector Manager for Sports and Infrastructure Development for Brazil. She comes to us directly from the UK Consulate in Rio de Janeiro where she was responsible for developing UK/Brazil business links for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Rachel also acted as the British Government focal point for contact with Brazilian Sporting institutions including the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) and World Cup 2014 hosting cities, the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) as well as all levels of the Brazilian Government.
Before embarking on Commercial Sports Development Rachel spent five years working for the United Nations and three years for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. She holds degrees from both the Universities of Cambridge and Brasilia and is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
