Sports Digital Speakers confirm for International Sports Convention - Geneva


The organisers International Sports Convention 2016 are delighted to announce that 6 Sports Digital speakers have joined the line-up for this year’s largest sports business convention taking place December 7-8, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland.


The speakers play a key role in inspiring all Conference Delegates with the latest trends, developments, best practice and current challenges in the sports industry. With more than 150 speakers, 95% are from Sports Governing Bodies, Associations, Media, Cities & Universities.


Alex Trickett – Head of Sport and Global Sports Chair at Twitter, advises the world’s biggest sports teams, players, organisations and broadcasters on how to use social media including Twitter, Vine and Periscope to meet their objectives and grow reach and engagement.


Stewart Mison – Strategic Director, Sports Business Development, Microsoft is a highly experienced sport and entertainment media professional working with clients to transform businesses in communication planning and digital activation for national, pan regional and global sports properties.


Tomos Grace - Head of UK Sport, YouTube/Google since 2014, responsible for signing and managing some of the largest sports partners in Europe. Before joining YouTube Tomos was head of Business Development at the Eurosport Group and worked in the Corporate Strategy team at Canal+ in Paris.


Benjamin Morel – Managing Director EMEA & Senior Vice-President, NBA. Benjamin Morel oversees all aspects of the NBA operations including media distribution, events, merchandising and sponsorship across the region. He also manages the NBA’s two regional offices located in Madrid and Johannesburg from the leagues EMEA headquarters in London.


Alexandra Willis – Head of Communications, Content and Digital, Wimbledon Championships. Award-winning content, digital and communications strategist leading and overseeing strategy and execution of communications, content and digital for the All England Club, Wimbledon, winner of the 2014 BT SIA Sports Brand of the Year, across all communications touch points including digital, publications, broadcast, social media and more.


Sam Seddon – IBM Wimbledon Client and Programme Executive, IBM. He has responsibility for managing the end to end delivery of the technical solutions that IBM provides to The Championships as part of their role as the official IT provider to the AELTC. He also has responsibility for the award winning IBM marketing and innovation programme for the partnership with Wimbledon.
