9. Matters beyond Major Events International's reasonable control

We shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms caused by circumstances beyond our control.

10.1 All rights in the designs and information in our Site are owned by Major Events International or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, display, post or transmit any part of this Site without our permission.

11.1 We will respect your personal information and will comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation currently in force.

11.2 We will use your personal information which you provide to us and the records of your visits to constantly monitor and improve our Service to you and for marketing purposes in accordance with our Private Policy.

12. Termination of service or amendments to terms

Premium Services Terms & Conditions

All standard Major Events International Terms and Conditions shall apply (unless specifically excluded) as well as the following key items.

The service

Although registration to the Major Events International website is free, there are some premium services for which a subscription is payable. We will inform you on the website if the information you are trying to access is not free and you will be given an opportunity to subscribe and pay for such premium services. You agree to pay any fee for any of the premium services that you use which are not free of charge.

Payment

Where you have chosen to make payment by debit/credit card, the fees are payable (unless otherwise notified to you) in advance by way of quarterly or annual subscription and are non-refundable. The payments will be deducted from the debit/credit card account that you have provided at the time of purchase.

Should the debit/credit card details for any reason be turned down for payment, we will notify you by email or telephone and suspend access to the premium service until such time as you inform us that we can resume drawing payments from a debit/credit card.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that your payment data is properly transmitted and kept secure.

Termination

This agreement will continue unless terminated in accordance with the following provisions. You may terminate your quarterly agreement by giving Major Events International not less than 30 days notice from your next quarterly renewal date. You may terminate your annual agreement by giving Major Events International not less than 30 days notice before your next annual renewal date. You may give this notice by post or e-mail (see below for contact details).

We may terminate these Terms and deactivate your access to premium services with immediate effect if you:

  • fail to make any payments due to us;
  • are in breach of any of these Terms;
  • you do or fail to do any act which jeopardises the continuance of these services;
  • breach any applicable legislation.

We will then be under no further obligation to you.
