The University of Central Lancashire Partners with Halo Solutions
The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) has announced a partnership with Halo Solutions to keep its students safe as they return to campus. Halo Solution's event management software will be used by the university's event team for a wide range of corporate events throughout the year. Halo streamlines security, health and safety, communications and lost property in a range of incidents and procedures via a three part system, which aims to keep both staff and attendees safe.
UCLAN's senior events manager, Jenny Heaton, said: "Safety is always our priority so choosing Halo's system ensures we're at the forefront of event safety provision. It will allow us to quickly and effectively manage incidents during an event while the recording and reporting system will allow us to create much-needed digital evidence logs."
The partnership with UCLAN will mark the first time that Halo Solution has worked with a university. Halo Solutions' CEO and co-founder Lloyd Major added: "It's so important for us to be able to expand into new verticals, especially now, when Covid-19 is having such a devastating impact on the events and sports industries. Being able to onboard our first university is a pivotal moment for us and we're hoping to reach more universities soon and support them with their events, security and even student welfare needs for mental health and safeguarding, such is the diversity of what we're able to offer in one platform. Bringing different functional areas into one communications platform, so they can all do their job more efficiently and safely is exactly what we're about."
