Major Events International is pleased to announce the significant addition of BBC broadcaster Mark Clemmit to their presentation team for the Major Events Virtual Summit, across the week commencing 6th July.
Mark is a very experienced sports broadcaster, best known for his engaging interviews with club managers and players in the EPL on the BBC’s Football Focus, and for his appearances on the live BBC results programme, Final Score. Known to many as "Clem", he is also an immensely popular event, conference and awards presenter, having worked extensively for many of English football’s main organisations and sponsors – and as an executive coach, specialising in presentation skills.
“I was introduced to MEI by the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) who I worked with last year- they are members of MEI and recommended them. What a great job MEI are doing: sharing information amongst major event organisers; supporting safety protocols and finding new ways to enhance fan engagement and revenues. I am excited about getting involved in the Summit and look forward to it being a chance to catch up with old friends- and make a few new ones.” Explains Clem.
“What we are undertaking with the Major Events Virtual Summit is both inspiring and intimidating - to co-ordinate the major rights holders organising significant sporting events between now until LA2028 alongside other major events such as festivals, means programming and moderating at least 50 organisations from around the world - most of whom will be live streaming to present or be part of panel discussions. To have someone of Clem’s knowledge, professionalism and experience to join us is a great boon- and, I am sure, will massively enhance the delegate experience” comments MEI’s COO Andy Rice.
