The Major Events Journal is the authoritative publication for the global major events ecosystem, created by Major Events International and shaped entirely by the people who lead the industry.

An evolution of the former MEI Handbook, the Journal adopts a non-advertising editorial model. Every page is given to insight rather than promotion: interviews with senior leaders, contributed articles, and analysis drawn from those delivering the world's most significant sporting and cultural events. Contributors span host cities, organising committees, international federations, venues, rights holders, and expert suppliers, offering lessons and perspectives that inform future thinking across the sector.

The inaugural edition launched at the Hosts and Federations Summit in Lausanne, with themes ranging from governance and legacy to commercial partnerships, safety, and emerging sports. Distribution reaches decision makers worldwide through hard copy, the MEI network, and partner organisations.
