Organized by the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA), the Women’s World Cup provides a global stage for teams representing nations, de-facto nations, regions, and minority peoples to showcase their talent. It’s a celebration of football’s power to unite and inspire across cultural boundaries.

Tournament Format


  • Year: 2025 or 2026 (to be confirmed).

  • Teams: 6 to 8 teams.

  • Duration: 9 days in June/July or at the end of December through early January.

  • Previous Edition: Scheduled for Bodo, Norway, 2024.
